Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience to work in a specialist SEMH provision in Trafford. This position is to start as soon as possible, will be full time and will initially be a temporary role, but may become permanent. This position will be ideal for a teaching assistant with recent SEMH experience who is looking to work in a new setting or for someone with little/no experience but has transferable skills. You will be working with small groups or perhaps on a 121 basis, working with pupils who are 11 - 16 years old. Contract/position details: * Location - Trafford * Position - Teaching Assistant * start date - ASAP * Contract type - temp to perm * Full time * Minimum rate of pay - £85 per day Experience, Training and qualifications: * Experience working with students with SEMH * GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or '4' & above * Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year * Up to date Prevent training issued in the last 3 years * Up to date FGM & behaviour management training To be eligible you must have/be: * Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced DBS child & adult certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application * Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your full, up-to-date CV.
