Job description

What you will do in your working day

• Installing prop shafts and propellers
• Preparing engine beds/rooms for engine installation
• Installing stabilisers and trim tabs
• Installing bow and stern thrusters
• Building and installing high-pressure fluid systems such as fire suppression systems
• Installing gearboxes
• Building and installing complex hydraulic circuits.

The training you will be getting

• Level 3 Marine Engineering Apprenticeship Standard.
  
• Functional Skills in English and Maths as required.

The opportunity for a permanent contract with private medical insurance, dental care and an extra 3 days holiday. Promotion opportunities and further education options also exist on the completion of training.
