An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Group Supply Chain Assurance team for an Ingredients Manager. The company is seeking a proactive individual to oversee the supply base and ensure operations meet established standards.
In this role, the chosen candidate will lead a team of ingredients technologists, ensuring they meet key performance indicators and receive necessary support. Responsibilities include approving raw material specifications within designated timelines, maintaining compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
The Ingredients Manager will also be responsible for managing the supplier approval process and maintaining accurate records. Building strong relationships with suppliers, providing feedback, and keeping stakeholders informed will be essential aspects of the role.
Additionally, the selected candidate will organize and lead meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss supplier and raw material statuses, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams.
Candidates should possess a degree in Food Science or a related field, along with a minimum of three years' experience in the Food sector. Experience in people management is preferred. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are required. Possession of a full current driving license and access to a car is advantageous.
