Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Rheumatologist to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases related to joints, muscle, bones, and autoimmune conditions. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose rheumatic conditions.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans inclusive of medication management, physical therapy, and other modalities.
- Provide guidance and counselling to patients and their families on disease management, lifestyle changes, and treatment options.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Stay abreast of advancements in rheumatology and related fields through continuous education and research.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the clinical training of junior staff and medical students.
- Maintain detailed records of patient care and progress to ensure continuity and quality of care.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency in internal medicine, followed by fellowship in rheumatology.
- Valid medical license and rheumatology certification.
- Demonstrated experience in rheumatology or related fields.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in rheumatologic procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise with patients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
