Bid / Project Manager -Permanent role - East Sussex Hybrid working
Our client is a global security solutions organisation that specialises in products that provide high quality entrance control and safe storage solutions.
The role sits within the mass transit project team and will be integral in supporting the expansion of the business into the mass transit market segment.
Responsibilities include:
- Will be responsible for overseeing the entire proposal development process (RFI & RFP requirements)
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure the requirements of RFP are met on time and correctly
- Assess risks associated with the bid and being aware of potential financial challenges
- Ensure that the bid is competitive and reasonable for the organisation
- Develop competitive pricing alongside the product and finance teams
- The overall quality of the proposal will be the bid managers responsibility
- Potentially could be client facing at times and building a strong long lasting relationship with clients is critical
- Post submission you will be analysing the outcomes and highlighting where improvements can be made for the next bid
Essential skills required:
- Experience of working in a matrix organisation
- In depth knowledge of MS office and D-365
- Experience of outlining an offer and able to manage international bids
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Cost and optimization conscious
- Autocad capability
- Additional languages would be beneficial
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the East Sussex office 2-3 times a week. Some international travel may be required occasionally
