THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an office based role with the expectation to attend the office on a weekly basis. Our o ffices locations: Milton Keynes, Warsaw, Denver, San Jose, Boston & Ottawa
Qualified and motivated individual with a strong ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle background to join our Autonomous Vehicles Service (AVS) research channel as a Senior Industry Analyst.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Market research content creation :
- Research and produce reports to be published to our syndicated client base providing results, analysis and actionable recommendations. Collaboration within and across teams is an important part of this function, to maximize value of TechInsights’ research.
- Support creation and management of forecasting models and research databases.
- Produce content from your research to support product marketing initiatives.
- Initiate and execute all aspects of end-user research studies where appropriate. Methodologies include but are not limited to enterprise surveys, and in-depth interviews .
- Research company activity, market drivers and technology developments around ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) applications in light-duty vehicles to gain a deep understanding for current and emerging application trends. This will include analysis at a vehicle system, sensor, semiconductor, and software level across the entire ADAS/AV ecosystem.
- Conduct primary and secondary research and consolidate data from multiple sources.
- Research, write and publish reports on ADAS/AV market trends on a timely basis.
- Support global forecasts and analysis by providing detailed insight into regional market trends.
Customer inquiry support:
- Directly support clients to answer inquiries and provide briefings.
Sales support and content promotion:
- Become recognized as an expert in the industry with a strong presence across TechInsights’ blogs, social media, and quotes and interviews in the press.
- Work with sales team to develop prospects and maintain and develop client relationships in calls, meetings and at major industry events.
- Attend client events and industry events either virtually or in person to support sales and client relationship development, requiring strong presentation skills.
Research prioritization:
- Collaborate with the colleagues and our clients to prioritize research coverage and develop a research strategy.
- Work with colleagues across services and sales to identify new research opportunities to expand customer relationships in the TechInsights’ SAM.
WHO YOU ARE
- Relevant Bachelors or graduate degree in Business or Engineering subjects
- Experience in ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle market research, product marketing, engineering, or field application relating to the automotive ADAS or Autonomous Vehicle electronics or semiconductor industry.
- Highly analytical individual able to work autonomously in the identification, preparation, and presentation of data analyses.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills both verbal presentation and written.
- Organizational ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- International travel will be required.
- Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- May lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
