Job description
Newly created role in a niche accountancy firm providing all round indirect tax advice to OMB clients and also advice to other firms of accountants. It's likely that you will be either an experienced manager looking for a step up to Senior manager/Associate Director or already a Senior Manager. You will need broad VAT experience, the ability to advise on areas such a partial exemption, VAT and property, due diligence on transactions and VAT as it relates to not-for-profit clients such as schools, charities and housing authorities. Your job will be to help with queries from any area of the business on any VAT issue including help with interactions with HMRC. This is a chance to develop your own niche, working in the advisory arm of an established firm of accountants. This role could be based from Cheadle, Stockport, Northwich or an office in North Wales such as Chester or Llandudno. There is plenty of scope for progression in the role and it will involve some travel to other offices. Part-time, flexible and hybrid working all available.
