Job description

Are you ready to take charge of our client’s procurement processes, and make a significant impact within a dynamic organisation? If so, we're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to join our client and drive excellence in procurement and contract management.

The role

The purpose of the Procurement Manager role is to oversee the entire sourcing process from start to finish, and execute sourcing plans for all goods and services. You will take the lead in managing contracts and monitoring supplier performance for key suppliers and buyers.

Key information

Full time and permanent contract

Salary: up to c. £44,000

Hybrid working: home-based combined with at least 4 times a month in their office in Buckinghamshire.

Key responsibilities

Contract Register Management : Take ownership of the contract register, ensuring comprehensive management and oversight of all contracts within the business. Keep track of upcoming contracts and ensure procurement strategies are aligned with business needs.

Procurement Strategy Development : Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the organisation's unique requirements. Ensure suppliers are aligned with their values and quality standards.

Stakeholder Management : Liaise with stakeholders across the business to understand their procurement needs and provide expert advice on the procurement process. Manage relationships effectively to ensure successful outcomes.

Policy Advisory : Advise on procurement policies and processes, ensuring compliance and best practices are maintained throughout the organisation.

Negotiation and Contract Review : Lead negotiations with suppliers and review contracts to ensure they meet business expectations. Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure contracts are fit for purpose.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills

Qualifications

Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. This role will suit you perfectly if you are looking to bring a proactive approach with a 360-degree view of the role, encompassing administration, negotiation, policy revision, and contract management.
