Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Communications (Operations & Technology), where the main responsibility is to assist our Chief Operations & Technology Officer’s (COTO) directorate, tell its story around its 2025 strategy and beyond. Including communications relating to changes in digital, cyber, administration and technology.

The role holder is expected to identify all communication topics across the directorate and help recognise the most effective message and engagement approach across all our communication channels.

This role is instrumental in driving a consistent and audience centric approach to communication and engagement. You will also build joined-up narratives across the area. You will get to design and influence the communication and key messages to a variety of audiences, to ensure they all receive relevant, targeted, and appropriate communications that support understanding and focus on priorities. Whilst we ensure we are consistent with the aims of 'making it easier to do business'.

You will have a natural ability to embrace opportunities to learn, innovate and share knowledge, be an expert story teller who thrives in a constant changing environment. You will be an expert listener and be able to extract vital points and embed those points in our story telling. You will be personable, adaptable and be confident when presenting and talking to senior personnel.
