Position: Part-Time KS1 General Cover Teaching Assistant

Location: Gloucester
Hours: 12:50 - 15:20 (2.5 hours per day), Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time KS1 General Cover Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Gloucester. Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Cover Sessions: Step in during teacher absences to ensure continuity of learning.
• Behavior Management: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources.
• Supervision: Support pupils during break times and other non-classroom activities.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
• Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Passion: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and work collaboratively with teaching staff.
• Reliability: Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role.

This role will start in April and will continue until the end of the academic year.
