Job description

What you will do in your working day

This is a very varied role and no two days are the same – which is what makes coming into work so exciting!

You’ll be doing the following:

• Learning how to analyse expenses and utilise cloud software to streamline processes
• Learning how to carry out bookkeeping and management reporting
• Assisting the team with HMRC compliance work
• Creating accounts and tax returns for sole traders and Limited Companies
• Checking and filing VAT returns and learning about payroll
• Learning how to carry out bookkeeping and management reporting
• Getting certified in cloud systems such as Xero and Dext

You will be guided by experts to ensure you get maximum value from your apprenticeship with view to rapidly progressing your career.

The training you will be getting

• The successful candidate will be required to attend weekday courses, once a week, at First Intuition Chelmsford to study towards their AAT Level 4 qualification as well as mentoring towards the Level 4  Apprenticeship knowledge, skills, and behaviours
• Possible progression to study higher level ACCA/ICAEW after successful completion of the Level 4 apprenticeship

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

• Possible progression to a higher level apprenticeship upon successful completion of the level 4 apprenticeship. Further progression within the company
