Registered Veterinary Nurse

• Located in the beautiful Kendal area

• Salary is competitive up to £27,000 DOE

Purovets are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and enthusiastic practice in Cumbria. You will be joining a talented team of 8 Veterinary Nurses and 6 Surgeons and 5 Receptionists to work together to provide the best customer care.

Your role will involve working alongside a team of experienced Veterinary Nurses to provide the highest standard of clinical care to their clients and their animals. The role will also involve working within a mixture of greeting clients on reception and ensuring they are happy with their treatment, making sure medicines are fully stocked and organised.

The Practice is situated in a beautiful market town in Cumbria, 8 miles south-east of Windermere and 19 miles north of Lancaster.

The Package:
•Salary is competitive, up to £27,000 DOE
•4 weeks paid holiday not including bank holidays
•3 days paid CPD leave
•£550 CPD allowance per annum
•Service based holiday entitlement increases

The Role:
•Full-Time, 39 hours per week
•4 days per week
•Shifts start at 8:30am -5pm,5:30,5:45 and 7:45 finishes over the week
•Saturday mornings 8:30am-1pm followed by on-call cover Monday morning
•Nurses share 1:7 OOHs

The Candidate:
•The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse, with familiarity in small animal nursing
•Ideally the candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of veterinary nursing and dealing with clients
•Full driving licence and own car is preferable
