Planning Solutions Analyst
3 Years Fixed Term, Full Time - 37 hours per week
Up to £46,297 per annum
Location: Chelmsford

The Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional solutions analyst to join our established and expanding Planning Service. Are you a highly motivated, experienced analyst? Do you have knowledge of the planning sector, data management and analysis and do you have a proven track record of implementing system change?
ECC has an aging planning obligations management system and we need your support to procure and implement a modern system. You’ll support teams across the Council but particularly Planning, Infrastructure and Highways to deliver a modern, public facing system. With new housing developments happening at pace in the County, our communities deserve to know that we are delivering quality infrastructure quickly and our investment in a new data management system is key to this.
You’ll need to be capable of building strong working relationships, supporting procurement, and proactively working with stakeholder across finance, IT and ECC Services to manage change.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the growth agenda within Essex. Although this post is initially fixed for 3 years, there may well be opportunity for extension, dependent on the needs of the system. We are seeking a highly-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our growing and forward-thinking team.
