Consilium Recruit are proudly supporting Darwin Group with their exciting growth plans. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager on a permanent and full-time basis. You will be well versed in handing commercial content for packages of work within
construction.

The Role

As the Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Manager) you will be responsible for the contractual and commercial elements of several concurrent projects. Key aspects of the remit include:
The Person
The successful candidate for the position of QS/Commercial Manager will possess a proven background in Quantity Surveying for construction and the related commercial aspects. You will have demonstrable experience of working under JCT/NEC Contract, a good understanding of market rates and material/labour costs and excellent time management and Co-ordination skills.
The QS/Commercial Manager will have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines and possess strong negotiating skills, excellent IT skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
The role requires travel to and from site and visits to customer sites and events, therefore a valid driving licence is preferred for the role.
