Fostering Team Manager will join a experienced and successful team in Cardiff. With occasional travel to the Wrexham office and beyond, you'll lead a team of reflective and creative Supervising Social Workers, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure every child in our care reaches their full potential.
As part of this hybrid working role, you'll:
- Contribute to agency strategic plan, delivering operational excellence, continuous improvement, and financial performance while prioritizing child safeguarding.
- Lead, motivate, and guide your team to provide outstanding care and outcomes, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Achieve regional targets for placement growth and carer recruitment, prioritizing the needs of children and carers.
- Safeguard children in our care, supporting the Registered Manager in monitoring Schedule 6/7 matters and liaising with Ofsted when necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with local authority customers through excellent communication and engagement skills.
To qualify, you'll need a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Care England or equivalent.
