Sales Executive
Offering a salary of up to £40,000 per year depending on experience, with an OTE of up to £50,000 per year and a company car allowance.
We are currently working with a leading Birmingham-based multimodal Freight Forwarder who are looking to employ a Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with experience within a sales-orientated role, preferably within the freight industry. With the successful candidate joining a busy, thriving sales team.
The successful candidate will generate sales, through introduction of new customers and developing a client base.
Duties will include:
• Generation and follow-up of sales leads, meeting potential and existing customers.
• Creating and presenting presentations, producing tenders and proposals for new business.
• Providing quotations where necessary.
• Build and maintain relationships with overseas agents.
• Offer an exceptional standard of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Monitor and report on current developments in the market and information on potential competitors.
• Work with Route Development Managers to promote specific markets through a coordinated programme of targeted calls.
• Prepare and presenting weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Ensuring all rate tariffs are updated, to ensure maximum profit and little loss.
This role requires a candidate who:
• Notable experience within the freight industry.
• Proven experience within a sales-orientated role.
• Motivated self-starter.
• The ability to work to strict deadlines and strives to achieve targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
