TSR Legal is pleased to collaborate with an esteemed law firm boasting a robust client portfolio in Gloucester. We are currently seeking a Commercial Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to integrate into their welcoming and seasoned team.
The primary objective of this role is to furnish legal services to clients concerning general commercial property affairs, with a specific emphasis on the sale and purchase of commercial properties, lease transactions, lease renewals, and aiding in coordinating the team’s operations to meet its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial consultations and client triage when necessary.
- Providing counsel and engaging with clients on commercial property issues.
- Overseeing ongoing case management.
- Managing client relationships.
- Negotiating matters on behalf of clients.
- Engaging in networking and fostering business development for commercial initiatives.
- Reviewing and managing Work in Progress (WIP) and client financing related to ongoing matters.
- Generating fees to achieve monthly and year-end targets.
- Facilitating outstanding debt collection.
- Participating in team meetings as required.
- Maintaining well-organised files and keeping records up-to-date.
- Utilizing DPS for all correspondence and ensuring its correct usage among team members.
- Employing PC skills as necessary for job tasks.
- Logging phone calls, inquiries, and requests, and addressing them promptly.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A proven track record of effectively managing personal workload and responsibilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
- Likely to possess 2 years+ PQE (or equivalent) and familiarity with utilising multiple systems, as well as adept administration skills.
