Cover Supervisor – East Grinstead -ASAP

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the school. You will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students continue to learn in a safe and productive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

* Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers.
* Follow the lesson plans provided by teachers, ensuring that the curriculum is delivered effectively.
* Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Manage student behaviour and apply the school's behaviour management policies when necessary.
* Address questions and provide support to students in their learning process.
* Collaborate with other staff members and communicate effectively with the school's leadership team.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.

Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:

* Patience, flexibility, and adaptability.
* Experience working with children and/or adolescents in an educational setting.
* Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
* You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
* You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Math’s and English ( or equivalent )
