Expleo Engineering UK is expanding its Electronics & Embedded Systems (EES) capability rapidly, so we are looking to recruit a Systems Design Engineer who is keen to progress their careers with a growing company and who want to help our customers make real products.
The EES business unit has world class experts in the provision of real-time embedded systems, specialising in safety critical control systems. To continue to grow the business we are now looking for an experienced Systems Design Engineer to join our growing team.
- Assists in ensuring that all deliverables defined in the Statement of Work (SoW) are achieved in terms of time and quality
- Support requirement maturity and clarifications
- To amend the requirement linkages within multiple sub-systems
- To act as the technical point of contact for workshops and queries
- To write the justification statements for the system
- Support and review the required System model
- Manage and control checking of deliverables
- Contribute to continuous process improvement
- Provides input into Project Managers on additional scope and change impact
- Provide weekly updates to internal staff and client as required
- Preferred, Incorporated or Chartered Engineer or have evidence of progress towards Professional Registration with a PEI.
- Experienced in Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environments.
System design development and maturation, including requirement maturity and clarification
Identifying and amending requirement linkages involving multiple systems
Justification statements for systems
- Systems model review
- Practical, relevant experience performing similar systems design roles, to senior or principal level.
- Experience of having been technical point of contact for workshops and queries
- Engineering Degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
