Here at Connex Education Wales, we are working with one of our amazing partner schools within the Caerphilly area to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistantwho can help provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for the children and young adults who attend the school.

About the school

Our client is an SEN school for pupils with additional learning needs, many of which have additional ‘barriers to learning’. This would include ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and SpLD. Although sometimes challenging, you will not find job satisfaction like it anywhere else.

Assignment Details

The role is start as soon as possible and will be a potential long-term for the right candidate.

Person Specification

• Experience of working with children with ALN/SEN
• The ability to work with groups of children independently including potential interventions.
• Be enthusiastic and positive.
• The ability to develop strong relationships.
• Able to communicate effectively and sensitively.
