At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as an Operational Planning Manager at our two sites: Bovington and Lulworth.

Bovington and Lulworth are sites that support over 120 hours of maintenance and repair for our tracked vehicles, this function ensures that we deliver the capability the British Army need to contribute to front line-support.

The role
As an Operational Planning Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Using your developed skills in stakeholder management, planning, and problem solving, you will manage a team of 5 operational planners, supporting them, and ensuring smooth operation of maintenance repair and overhaul of military platforms for track vehicles.

Day to day, you'll be the senior escalation point that will understand and communicate risks, handle customer concerns, identify capability and capacity issues associated with plans and liaise with all key stakeholders. You will also:

This role is a 36 hour per week, fixed term contract (52 weeks) offering a hybrid working arrangement with the expectation to be onsite three days per week. You will be based at our Bovington, however there is a requirement for you to make occasional visits to our Lulworth site, which is a short 20-minute drive away from Bovington.
