Title: Panels Assembly Technician L2

Duration: 12 Months - Likely To Be Extended

Location: Stevenage

Pay rate: £21 per hour.

An esteemed aerospace firm in Stevenage seeks a Panels Assembly Technician to join their innovative engineering team. Renowned for pioneering contributions to aviation and serving top industry names, this company is a global leader in aerospace technology, committed to excellence and innovation.

As a member of the AIT Operations team, the primary responsibility is to ensure the consistent production of items that meet all quality standards outlined in the production plan. This involves adhering to the guidelines outlined in the local document system (LDS), which details the methods and procedures necessary for production.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Cleanroom Regulations, local health, and safety standards, and 5S policy in the work area.
• Report progress to the Lead Technician/Team Lead and contribute to shop floor meetings.
• Maintain 5S disciplines, support continuous improvement, and assist department trainees.

Daily Tasks:

• Perform assembly and final assembly processes for aluminum composite panel manufacture.
• Inserting panels with appropriate mechanical fasteners.
• Bonding various brackets and equipment.
