The Employer is: EDEN PROPERTY AND LANDSCAPE SERVICES LTD. We are a family business seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Landscape and Property Maintenance Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing various tasks related to landscape maintenance, property upkeep, equipment operation, seasonal tasks, client communication, and ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities
- Landscape Maintenance: Mowing, trimming, edging of lawns and grassy areas. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to promote healthy growth and maintain desired shapes.
- Weed control and removal to ensure a clean and manicured appearance - Plant flowers, trees, and other plants according to seasonal needs and design plans. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
- Property Maintenance to include: Inspect and repair outdoor structures, including fences, gates, and walkways. Monitor and address drainage issues to prevent water damage to the property. Clean and maintain outdoor furniture and fixtures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various landscaping tools and equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Seasonal Tasks: Perform snow removal during winter months and applying ice melt. Participate in fall cleanup activities, such as leaf removal and preparing the landscape for winter.
- Communicate with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities. Provide recommendations for improvements or additional services based on the condition of the landscape.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. Comply with local regulations and environmental standards related to landscaping and property maintenance

Essential Skills
- Desire to learn new skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment.
Desirable Skills
- Previous gardening and landscaping experience.
- Previous maintenance experience.
Further Information
The Employer is: EDEN PROPERTY AND LANDSCAPE SERVICES LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
