Job Title: Pro*C Developer
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Salary/Rate: £400/day inside IR35
Start Date: 18/03/24
Job Type: Contract

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Pro*C Developer to join their team for an initial four-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible for the reverse engineering of existing direct debit process, performance improvement of a billing process as well as setup and implementation.

1. Monitor and manage the progress of tasks
2. Reverse engineering of existing Direct Debit process
3. Performance improvement of a Billing process
4. Setup and implementation on RHEL 8.xx while migrating from RHEL 7.xx

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Hands on experience with ProC and PL/SQL in a Unix environment.
2. Experience with C and SQL would also be suitable.
3. Experience with Oracle
4. Knowledge of batch job scheduling
5. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
6. Experience with Unix Shell Scripting

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. Knowledge of billing systems
2. Domain experience: Utilities specifically Gas and Power
3. Full stack development experience
