Job description

Are you passionate about working with young people with Social Emotional and Special Educational Needs?

We are currently seeking a Learning Mentor to join a well-established secondary school located in the heart of Wigan, Greater Manchester.

The school is looking for a dedicated Learning and behaviour Mentor who can inspire and support students on a 1-2-1 and small group basis.

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is reflective about teaching and learning. As a Learning Mentor, you will have the opportunity to motivate and inspire our students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will be caring, empathetic, and sensitive to the needs of our students. They will also be committed to continuously raising standards, self-evaluation, and school improvement. Additionally, we are looking for a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or individuals with a background in youth work. As a Learning Mentor, you will work with a diverse range of students and provide support with SEN/SEMH/Behavioural issues.
- Monday - Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Weekly pay of £77 - £85
- Immediate start
- Possible temporary-permanent contract for the right candidate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
