Converting Operator
Alfreton, Derbyshire
Hours : 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am (12 hour shifts)
Pay: £14 per hour

Our client, a market leader, is currently looking to recruit an Converting Operator to strengthen their team due to ongoing growth of their business. With the future looking good, this is a fantastic time to join the company as they enter into the next phase of their expansion plans.
Position Summary
Producing bags using converting machines; complies with customer specifications for each job; meets or exceeds production goals and expectations for each job produced. Must follow all safety programs, policies and procedures and work safely.
Experience with Hemmingstone, Guris, Arvor, Amutec, Saldoflex or Roll-o-matic machines is preferred but not essential.

• Machine minding/operating
• Quality checking of plastic products
• Keeping to strict deadlines and job lists
• Reporting to management
• Good attention to detail
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a production environment is preferred
• Great attitude and work ethic
• Good understanding of hygiene standards
• Excellent attendance
• Self-motivated, as well as being a team player
This is a temporary to permanent vacancy.
