Job description

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Cornwall, is currently looking to recruit 4 x eCare Business Analysts for initial 12 month contracts on a salary of £43,742/annum. These roles will be based onsite in Cornwall.

Responsibilities:

 
- Design and plan programmes and projects aligned to eCare, ensuring clear aims and measures for improvement identified.
- Process map existing pathways and make improvements to ensure they align with the new EPR system.
- Identify and document benefits that will be realised during and after change implementation.
- Conduct analysis throughout project delivery and after project completion to ensure learning is taken forward, and benefits realisation is achieved.
- Write progress reports and formal presentations for submission to a variety of groups, Boards, governing bodies, and other key stakeholders as required.
- Be responsible for the financial management of assigned resources, ensuring costs are monitored and managed and efficiencies realised where appropriate.
- Research national and system-wide initiatives to identify best practice and shared learning.
- Be aware of the wider health economy and government policies affecting the organisation and patient care. Incorporate these policies into the eCare agenda.
- Be conversant with organisational developments and able to access support that national-level organisations can offer to help us move forward.
- Constructively challenge behaviours that hinder change or do not support the strategy and values of the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to develop new roles in support of digital transformation and service delivery.
- Identifying solutions to overcome barriers to change and evidencing improved outcomes from changes implemented.
- Measuring benefits realised and releasing true efficiencies.
- Championing others to make the changes and embed them and having an innovative approach to identify opportunities and ways to get others to support change.
- Embedding digital transformation changes as business as usual.
- Arrange and lead project related meetings at various stages throughout the projects.
- Nurture a culture of change through encouraging and empowering individuals and teams to focus on improving patient care.
- Utilise Smartsheet software in the effective management of projects and programmes.
- Attendance at team and project meetings, acting as a meeting chair in some instances.
- Provide cover for colleagues as appropriate.
- Undertake any other duties requested as appropriate to the banding.
- To participate in an annual individual performance review process with the line manager where objectives will be agreed, performance monitored & personal development needs discussed.

Essential Skills:

 
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience of transformational change within a complex organisation to Masters level equivalent.
- Extensive experience of delivering service change and quality improvement projects in complex and challenging environments.
- Experience in stakeholder management and engagement across multiple areas
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions and achieve objectives whilst working with continually changing demands and priorities.
- Experience of negotiating and influencing others
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
- Actively promote a culture whereby patients, staff, visitors and colleagues are treated with respect and dignity - lead by example.
- Ability to keep the improvement of the quality of care to all programmes, often managing conflicting priorities and objectives
- Experienced in producing business cases and other senior level documents.
- High level verbal and written skills.
- Ability to arrange and support meetings and formal committees.
- Ability to support and facilitate large groups via workshops and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Ability to interpret complex information and provide advanced analysis to address highly complex project issues.
- Ability to interpret national guidance to develop change programs to deliver national best practice across the organisation.
- Ability to complete complex audits of programs to demonstrate outcome-based performance improvements.
- Ability to understand complex information and present it accessibly to a range of audiences.
- Proven ability to problem solve and to achieve change, whilst at the same time balancing operational demands.
- Ability to concentrate on complex project monitoring whilst responding to sudden unexpected demands.
- Mandatory training
- Ability to work across all sites, as required.

 
Desirable Skills:

 
- PRINCE2 or equivalent
- Experience of delivering teaching and/or training sessions to a variety of audiences, on a range of topics.
- Experience of encouraging diversity of thinking as a means to promote positive change and fostering commonality.
- Experience of working with Quality Impact Assessment processes.
- Experience in the delivery of a digital Transformation project/ programme.
- Experience in process mapping and re-design of clinical services/ pathways.
- High level IT skills
- Negotiating and influencing skills
