Job Title: Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

Location: Malvern

In this role you will manage the Safety and Environmental Management systems, oversee the internal and external audit processes, Chair the Safety & Environmental Committee, manage the Benchmark reporting database, be the go-to person for issues relating to Health and Safety, Environmental management topics, conduct accident investigations and be part of the Global H&S Team working to improve Malvern Panalytical’s H&S culture. 

What are your responsibilities?

• Maintenance and update the H&S and Environmental Management Systems.
• Oversee all Benchmarking reports
• Work with your global QHSE colleagues to make continuous improvements 
• Increase participation and engagement in HSE related areas
• Oversee the internal and external audit processes and maintain accreditation to the ISO Standards (14001 & 45001)

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• You will need to have a mind-set that is passionate about the safety of others, making a difference and looking for continuous improvement opportunities
• Hold a NEBOSH Safety qualification, or working towards the General Certificate
• Be a qualified lead auditor in an ISO related discipline
• Working knowledge of risk management and specific hazard related topics such as (Chemicals, Non-Ionizing Radiation and or X-Rays)
• Production, process and Lean/6S experience
