Location Initially based in Shrewsbury.
(will relocate to Wolverhampton area within the next 6 months)
Salary – 35k - 40k per annum Negotiable on experience

Job description
To support customer satisfaction and sales through servicing and repair of the company equipment on site, at customer site or other.
To provide service and operation best practise advice to customers
To Carry out refurbishment of used machines for optimum availability for sale.
To support production operations as needed
Major Tasks
To liaise with customers to support the service, warranty claim, repair, and refurbishment of the company’s equipment, doing so with clarity and professionalism either face to face, over the phone, by email or other communication methods.
To have capable I.T skills to be able to administer all service and admin work.
To carry out fault diagnoses on all company products, engines (both diesel and petrol) and related components.
To dismantle all types of products, engines, and components, clean and prepare to the required standard ready for rebuilding.
To assist production and carry out the mechanical building, modification, servicing, and repair of the complete range of company products to customer exact specifications.
To replace all relevant parts as appropriate to ensure products are professionally repaired and put back into running order.
To ensure that all machine settings are correct and relevant testing is completed before machines are despatched.
To ensure that all documentation (Engineer Service Reports / Case No) relevant to the repair/service is completed on time.
To carry out service and breakdown calls at customer locations on all company products when required.
To advise management on all aspects of mechanical engineering requirements.
To ensure that environmental best practise is always followed and that spill kits on site and in the service, vehicles are kept stocked.
To assist with the delivery and collection of customers equipment.
To assist with any company stock takes and ensure that the hire fleet profile is correct and available.
To ensure required standards of housekeeping and tidiness are achieved and always maintained.
To attend training courses as and when required.
Communicate with the Internal Supervisor on a regular basis, about the results, activity, progress, and issues with suggested counter measures.
General tasks for managing.
Contribute to the daily sales effort and growth of the company.
Succeed in attending to regular operational distractions without losing time against core programmed objectives.
Establish a regular and clear method for reporting results and associated data.
Maintain good working relations within the Company and relevant outside organizations.
Ensure compliance of all operations to relevant legislation including Health and safety, Environmental, Anti-bribery, Anti-trust, competition and other relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
Take responsibility for the physical and intellectual property, plant, and equipment within your area of operations.
Discharge all functions according to the current Company Handbook and relevant policies.
Be responsible for your training and skills levels in the broadest terms.
Develop and maintain an attitude of continuous improvement and co-operation in your work and with all other departments.
