Business Development Manager (Scotland & Ireland)
The role
Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional looking for your next big move?
We're currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our experienced Sales team and take charge of the territories in Scotland and Ireland.
Reporting to the Divisional Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing relationships with Specifiers, Fabricators, Installers, and other key influencers to optimise business performance and enhance VEKA's market presence.
What you'll do
- Develop Account Plans for your area and individual customers aimed at sustainably growing the area year on year.
- Identify and contact key decision makers in specifier and contractor commercial markets to secure VEKA specification for the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, company policy and procedures contributing to continuous improvement.
- Collate market, competitor and prospective customer information, feeding this back to relevant departments within the Company.
What you'll need
- Ideally hold a degree level qualification with interest in future professional development
- Minimum 3 years account management experience, with a proven track record
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
- The behaviours of a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage their own time effectively.
- Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude.
