Platinum Recruitment is working with a privately owned Transport Maintenance company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified HGV Technician to join their team of highly skilled HGV Technicians.

Your responsibilities will include-
As a HGV Technician you will work with a great team who are responsible for the maintenance, service and repairs of HGV vehicles which includes main manufacturers such as DAF, Scania, Iveco and Volvo Trucks.

* servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance of equipment to meet agreed service levels and standards in a timely manner.
* Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults and issues.
* Complete detailed reports on all work carried out.
* Work with a fantastic team of qualified HGV Technicians.

Experience essential for this role -
* Full UK Driving Licence is required
* Fully qualified HGV mechanic
* Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing faults with HGV/PSV/Plant and associated equipment
* Ability to diagnose and carry out repairs on errors/faults with HGV mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
* Great communication skills and PC literate in Word, Excel and Outlook
