Speech and Language Therapist

Preston

Full-Time

Up to £33 per hour

As a Community Speech and Language Therapist specialising in Neuro Rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to delivering outstanding care to our patients. You will work closely with individuals who have experienced stroke, ABI, and other Neurological challenges, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Requirements:

Valid and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy

Previous experience in treating patients with stroke, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), and Neurological conditions

Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a car.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication and swallowing difficulties in patients with stroke, ABI, and Neurological conditions.

Develop and implement personalised therapy plans based on individual needs and goals.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care and progress.

Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards
