Job description

On behalf of our client, we are currently hiring a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will develop business relationships with new clients and win business at the strategic and tactical operating levels.

 

The Business Development Manager will:

Engage in direct communication with potential customers by phone, video, email, and visits to get a better understanding of their businesses, their market positions, and their requirements. Then, create and accept relevant action plans to meet those needs.

Generate and maintain prospect forecasting database.

Supply up-to-date information, reports, pertinent supporting materials, and new agenda items for frequent Sales meetings.

Actively seek out new client opportunities and potential clientele.

Liaise closely with bid manager through bid stages.

Takes ownership for team cohesion and proactively contributes to creating a good team atmosphere.

TheBusiness Development Manager will have:

Strong customer interfacing and management skills.

Relevant scientific, engineering or manufacturing degree or HND.

Experience in Engineering, preferably within automotive and/or battery industries.

Strong MS Office skills.

Proven track record of completing engineering programmes on schedule and within budget.

Ability to manage and prioritise multiple demands.
