SEMH Teaching Assistant - Redbridge - 1:1 Support SEPTEMBER 2023
Are you a recent Graduate with experience supporting young people or adults with Mental Health disorders?
Are you an aspiring Educational Psychologist? Or Speech and Language Therapist?
A school in Greenwich is looking for a Graduate with experience supporting people with Special Needs to join their school in September to support pupils with SEMH.
This SEMH Teaching Assistant role will allow you to liaise with Teacher, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, play therapists and many other people working within the same field.

*** 1-year contract, Full-Time Post starting ASAP
*** £90- £110 per day depending on your experience
*** Experience with Mental Health or SEN is required
*** Graduate position 2.1 or higher
For this position of a SEMH Teaching Assistant, the school want to recruit a calm and purposeful individual who has experience in a support role. The successful graduate would welcome the opportunity to develop themselves as they look forward to a career in education or as a therapist.
In this SEMH Teaching Assistant position, you will be working across the entire school and you will be leading pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will have the responsibility of assisting teachers with the hope of you eventually leading your own sessions. You will be allowed to get involved in creating ECHP plans for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
