Archer Resourcing have a great new position for a Band 7 Dietitian to join the team in Greater Manchester.

Site:

• Junction 17 – Prestwich Hospital

If you are a hard-working, experienced Dietitian then we would love to hear from you! The successful candidate will be working with the dedicated team at Prestwich Hospital to assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a specialist case load of patients with complex nutritional and psychiatric needs, using evidence based and person-centred principles, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment.
• Taking responsibility in planning, developing, and evaluating the dietetic service within the CAMHS and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the service.
• Managing resources within clinical and professional area with minimal supervision
• Supporting the GMMH Dietetics lead and contribute to the maintenance and development of the Trust wide dietetic services and health promotion activities.
• Providing leadership to junior staff through leadership and appraisal.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in dietetics
• Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
• Experience of working with children, young people and/or families in varied contexts
• An up-to-date knowledge of Mental Health assessments and treatments, using evidence-based practice
• Recent experience working as a Dietitian
• Registration with HCPC
