Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their employment law needs, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of employment matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and contractual disputes.
- Legal Research: Stay informed about changes in employment law and industry trends, ensuring that advice provided to clients is up-to-date and relevant.
- Documentation Drafting: Prepare and review employment contracts, policies, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Advocacy: Represent clients in employment tribunals, providing strong advocacy skills and negotiating settlements when necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other legal departments and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the firm by actively participating in business development initiatives and building strong client relationships.
Qualifications and Requirements: - Newly Qualified Solicitor, admitted to the Law Society of England and Wales.
- Strong academic background with a focus on Employment Law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
- Keen interest in staying abreast of developments in employment law.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive working environment.
