Senior QC Manager
Northampton
As a Barclays Senior QC Manager, you will be working as part of Barclays Payments Merchant Services (BPMS) who are a Voice & Back Office processing team. Within this role, you will be part of the extended Leadership Team that provides reliable and actionable insight into the quality of processes and process conformance in line with Barclays policies and standards and BPMS objectives & service level agreements.

What will you be doing?
• Ensuring QC on KYC processes are carried out in compliance with all relevant Barclays policies and Standards
• Devising the annual QC Plan, including identifying and agreeing identification and QC treatment of high risk processes, and obtain approvals and agreement
• Managing a diverse and inclusive Quality Control team based on multiple sites to deliver effective, efficient and compliant independent Quality Control across Barclays Payments
• Setting clear direction and objectives for the Quality Control team and supporting delivery of QC objectives through effective people /performance management
• Monitoring QC outputs to identify and agree actions to address recurring opportunities for improvement in QC or operational processes related to KYC
• Improving QC frameworks and methodologies (minimum annually) to optimise effectiveness of QC and ensure frameworks and approaches
What we’re looking for:
• Experience of QC and /or understanding of the Payments market is an advantage
• Ability to lead a Team through change and deliver high performance
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders up to Managing Director level
• Demonstrates excellent analytical skills and makes practical and realistic recommendations based on data

• Knowledge of Banking products and services and associated legislation e.g. Code of Banking Practice

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
