Location: Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB21 5ET

Salary: £13.50 (approximate p/ h rate)

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: Hours 7am - 5pm (Mon - Fri)

S&B Herba Foods Ltd is a leading Rice and Pulses business in the UK (part of the Ebro Foods Group) serving the wholesale, retail and food manufacturing industries.

About the FLT Operative Role:

We are looking to recruit an FLT operative to work at our Rice Mill in Fulbourn.

The role involves the following:

• Working with a small team of packers to ensure the efficient operation of our packing lines.
• Keeping the palletising machines supplied with Pallets and replacing the Top Sheet, Bottom Sheet and Shrink wrap when required.
• Removing finished product pallets from the packing line in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stacking the finished product in the warehouse or automated racking system safely.
• Completing quality paperwork.
• Assisting Forklift Truck drivers in keeping the warehouse organised.
• Use 'Clean as you go' practices.

Qualification / Skills:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck experience. Holding a current licence would be ideal but we may provide training for the right candidate if you do not.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience in the food industry or on other production lines would be advantageous.
• Strict adherence to the Company's Food Safety, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies is essential.
