Job description
Software Engineer / Software Programmer/ PLC Programmer required for a global manufacturer specialising in the design and production of electrical components based in Portsmouth.
The
Software Engineer / Software Programmer / PLC Programmer will have experience with PLCs and programming languages such as Ladder Logic and Structured Text.
Package £35k - £40k depending on experience

Software Engineer / Software Programmer / PLC Programmer Responsibilities Working alongside a team of engineers maintaining and developing the robotic manufacturing of the company processes
Software/PLC programming using Ladder Logic and Structured Text
Involved in the machine design and build of company equipment
Integration of robotic systems into manufacturing
Software Engineer / Software Programmer / PLC Programmer Requirements Similar position experience as a Software Engineer / Software Programmer or similar
Experience of Ladder Logic and Structured Text
Experience with the preferred equipment suppliers – Mitsubishi and Keyence would be desirable
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
2 years + experience of working with PLCs
Commutable to Portsmouth
