HRGO Recruitment are looking for a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our clients award winning family roofing company in East Sussex. You will be working for an expanding business which has been established for three generations.
Now Celebrating 75 years of success, they are looking for a new and experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage various construction and roofing projects from initial order of works through to completion.
With each project being bespoke to customer's requirements and delivered to the highest quality, this role offers excellent variety, challenge, and job satisfaction.
Your role will involve coordinating and supervising the construction processes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
General Duties:
- Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and making necessary adjustments to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Attending meetings with clients and main contractors, building positive long-lasting relationships
- Prepare and present project status reports to management
- Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and completed in a timely manner.
- Organise sub-contractor labour and in-house labour.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, variations, programmes, and other relevant records.
Role Requirements:
- PM experience within high end, high spec, construction or similar
- CSCS/SSSTS
- Strong knowledge and understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Pro-active / forward thinking and organised
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in project management software and tools
Must have UK Drivers Licence
