About the role:
- Provide support for technical and commercial enquiries
- Look at all enquiries and understand the sales potential in them
- Manage and interpret customer requirements, understand their needs, and advise what products are best for the customer
- Look to develop the offering by cross selling across the group, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, controls, and service packages. Offer the total package from design and installation to project management
- Develop long term relationships with customers and follow up quotes
- Provide professional technical quotes for customers
- Understand the product range and offer technical advice to customer
- Calculate customer quotations
- Support marketing activities by following up literature sent out and development of target audience
- Liaising with other members of the sales team
- Offer after sales support and service agreements
About You:
- 5 years technical sales experience desirable
- We want someone to prove they can add value to a rapidly expanding SME
- Manufacturing / Industrial experience is important
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others
- You'll want to make improvements and bring new ideas
- Strong organisational skills

Developing a robust sales pipeline, to ensure leads and enquiries are qualified, managed, and followed up, which in turn will give us an accurate sales forecast.
- Targeting group accounts, resurrect legacy customers, cross sell to ensure that our group offering is known, and help develop our customer relationship from a proactive perspective
- Develop a standard product offering for each of the group companies, to have a more efficient price and delivery approach
