Position Overview
This role sits within the Global Transportation and Customs Team. This role forms part of our UK Customs Operations responsible to manage, optimize and audit our import and export activities into and out of the UK

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work areas will include the following: · Liaising with Campegine based Teams, UK Customs Brokers and Carriers, to support cross border and Customs clearance processes, Customs queries, documentation, delays etc. re imports and exports/returns. · Administration: Customs document collation, filing and tracking · Analysis: Reconciliation, Auditing, Issue resolution, reporting & KPI's · Liaising with Customs Brokers and DC Customs team to audit entries and validate claims for Duty Reclamation · Process Development: Improving & refining current processes and developing new processes to meet business requirements. · CITES Permit Applications & follow up. · Duty Deferment Account management & follow up, tracking of deferment account usage by Customs Brokers to ensure we operate with limits, dynamically manage usage of Broker accounts if needed and request change/uplift to Deferment Account limits, organization and monitoring of payments. · Process Customs Broker and other invoices · Assisting Non-Merch departments including Store Development, Creative & Deco and Marketing with imports/export processes · Support expansion of the international Home Collection category with UK imports/exports · Liaise with NY Team for HS Code Issues · Provide flexible approach to cover holiday and other absences across the team as required.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· Operations · Customs processes and administration (excel) · Communication & organisation · Methodical with high attention to detail · Finance and auditing, ability to work with large data sets and perform analysis. · Take initiative, ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate. · Flexible to work across transport and customs. · Able to take direction and run with tasks and processes. Location: · Hybrid working, mostly remote at home, and hybrid working from Watford and 50 New Bond St offices. · Visits to customs broker and carrier offices.
