What do I need?
You will need previous experience within the last 3 years in a similar role providing secretarial support to a team of lawyers within personal injury and/or insurance matters. Confident in dealing with telephone calls and queries in a timely manner as well as maintaining and updating our court diary and case management systems.
You will need to bring an enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude with a desire to achieve and exceed targets combined with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving is desirable.
We would like to see a strong work ethic and a committed team player. We are a close knit and stable team that like to share ideas and experience with a view to achieving the best results that we can for our Clients.
Be confident and assertive and willing to engage in public speaking.
What will you be doing?
You will be asked to provide full-service secretarial support to a small team of lawyers including 3 Partners across both our Glasgow and Edinburgh offices (hybrid working at least 3 days per week from the office) including but not limited to;

About the company
Established in 1969, the firm currently provides legal services to 12 of the UK’s 20 largest motor insurers in specialist areas such as counter fraud, large & complex injury, motor and casualty services, recoveries, costs and credit hire. Horwich Farrelly has recently expanded into the provision of commercial legal services and litigation, providing solutions to a wide range of corporate and SME clients.
