Job description
The post holder will provide day to day support to the tenants of this Sheltered Living Scheme. They will liaise directly with the tenants, their relatives and Health and Social Services, whilst managing the scheme to ensure a safe and secure environment. .
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day support to the tenants of this Sheltered Living Scheme
- Liaise directly with the tenants, their relatives and Health and Social Services, whilst managing the scheme to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C to include Mathematics and English language) or equivalent.
- 1 years experience in office administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Excel, email and Word.
- Experience in the management and recovery of debt.
- Experience in a customer facing role
Desirable Skills
- A third level qualification or Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent)
- Good understanding of the court/legal framework in relation to debtors
- Experience of using a computerised management information system to collect and record tenant debt
- 6 months previous experience in a rent collection/credit control environment and housing administration
- Knowledge of Housing Association Rent Collection Methods
