Job description

Are you a General Radiologist based within the North West of England or a Radiologist looking for a change in location, then please look no further.

We at RIG Locums are one of the main suppliers to this University NHS trust, where they’re currently looking for 3 Locum General Radiologist to join their trust as soon as possible.

Now, the reason for this trust in needing 3 Consultant Radiologists is due to an influx of patients requiring the imaging services alongside a recent retirement within the trust.

This trust understands that its location is not within one of the main major cities in the North West of England however, if a Consultant Radiologist is seeking a rural area with beautiful and tranquil surroundings than this could be the Hospital for you.

The type of candidate this trust is looking for will need to hold the below skills set in order to be considered for this locum post:

• 6 months UK consultant experience (however will consider less)
• General reporting experience e.g. MRI, CT, Ultrasound and plain films (will consider candidates who don’t cover all modalities).
• Trust are able to support the Locum’s sub-specialty interest
• GMC Specialist registration (however trust will consider without, as long as you hold UK Consultant experience)

You’ll be joining a full-time rota which will include 10PA’s per week, amounting to 40hrs per week with a flexible start and end time. Also Locum’s will have the option to report during evenings and weekends, which will allow you to earn extra money on your weekly timesheet.
