Specialist Accountancy practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with an esteemed and prestigious firm of chartered accountants in the York area who are looking to add an ambitious Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.
The ideal individual will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have begun studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualifications.
As an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior your role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is keen to develop their career within a forward-thinking and well-respected firm in York. There will be genuine prospects for career development with the successful person progressing into a senior role within the firm.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships
Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
Assist senior team members with the completion of audit assignments, playing an active role in carrying out the assignment at client premises
Skills:
ACA / ACCA Students or Part Qualified
Experience in working with Owner Managed Business
Experience of assisting on audit assignments
