Job description

The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity that has been working with people with learning disabilities since 1898. Based in Sussex and some areas in London our mission is to work towards being led by people with learning disabilities and deliver high-quality housing, support and activities in their local communities. People with learning disabilities who use our services tell us that they want “good support from kind and friendly people” – so that is what we are looking for!

We are recruiting a Service Manager to be part of the Choices team at Grace Eyre. The role is to manage a supported living service in Hove for people with learning disabilities and autism.

A brief outline of the role:

We are looking for someone who has experience in leading and supervising a team and has experience working creatively to ensure the people we support have their needs met. The successful candidate needs to have experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and autism and can support a team to follow different plans such as Positive Behaviour Support Plans. The role will also involve tasks such as managing rota’s, quality monitoring, supporting people to manage their medication and finances and ensuring people have a good quality of life which includes doing the things they enjoy.

The people in the service would like it if the successful candidate has interests in sports, art, keeping fit and having fun
