Job description

Would you like to work for a charity that make a real difference to local people? This role is all about supporting people to move into employment.

This is an office based role. You will work with job seekers who need extra support to move towards employment. A typical one to one could include:

• Delivering better off working calculations
• Assessing an individuals needs and referring them to partner organisations where it might help them (for example healthcare / wellbeing or educational needs)
• Action planning – putting a plan in place and how to achieve this
• Regular check in meetings around job applications, interview preparation and developing employment skills

You will be great with people, have good IT skills, as well being comfortable with quality and compliance. You might have previously worked as an employment advisor, recruitment consultant, support worker, key worker, resettlement worker, housing officer, customer service officer or sales executive.
