About The Role
RAC are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partners to be part of a fast-track programme , encompassing regular rotations across a number of our key business areas . This role will be based in our head office in Bescot, Walsall with flexible hybrid working.
About the role
A fast-paced role(s) playing a crucial part in the Finance Team. Owning and managing the day-to-day financial performance of your areas providing support, insight and challenge.
Rotating across a number of different business areas including:
- Business Roadside. W orks with large B2B corporate partners (banks, insurance, fleet and motor manufacturers) as well as providing other niche offerings. Working hands-on to drive margin performance, new business initiatives, manage month end activity, CAPEX requests and balance sheet ownership.
- Operations. Manages the delivery of breakdowns from call to attendance. You’ll work collaboratively with the business on the financial drivers/ KPIs that positively influence both cost and service so that we can continue to provide exceptional service to our members
- Head office. Working closely with non-financial budget owners (HR, Technology, Legal, Property) to assist them in providing accurate financial information, decision support, insight and commercial challenge.
- Projects. Naturally ad-hoc in nature. This could involve implementing systems or working on corporate transactions.
What you’ll need
- These roles should really suit post qualified accounting looking to get wide ranging experience and fast progression
- The ideal candidate will be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant with post qualification experience, along with the following;
- Strong financial control skills.
- Analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with ahands on and eye for detail.
- Ability to assimilate information and make decisions quickly.
- The drive to want to progress and demonstrate your full potential and learn different parts of our business.
