Job description

What you will do in your working day

As the successful Paralegal Apprentice your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and assisting our family law solicitors in all aspects of their work including liaising with clients and counsel, preparing court documentation and such like
• Setting up a new file for the client
• Obtaining police disclosure
• Helping to prepare an application to Court
• Helping to draft a witness statement
• Preparing court bundles
• Arranging a hair strand test
• Drafting an after-court letter

The training you will be getting

Paralegal Level 3.

The apprentice would work with other legal personnel including solicitors. You will also attend Kingston College to complete your Paralegal Apprenticeship and off the job training. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The future prospects this role could lead to is having the potential to further training and development within the industry. This apprenticeship aligns with National Association of Licensed Paralegals for Paralegal Technician.
